Course overview
Though
the Diploma in Education and Teaching
is a full-time course, a lot of online training courses have recently started
up and helped those interested of earning
the degree and making progress of their career in the teaching industry. No
matter how much convincing and beneficial the online courses may seem, it is
always better to choose a full-time course as it provides a better chance of
developing the necessary skills and solving mutual problems through sharing of
ideas and concepts. Irrespective of the mode of training you choose, it
requires you to have access to 100 hours of teaching practice at the least
during the tenure of the course. But this requirement may be considered in some
cases if the candidate has some prior experience in the relevant field.
Apart
from that, the candidate will be kept under observation to test the skills and
knowledge and tracking the progress during the course for final assessment.
Your observer can be one of your colleagues as well if he/she holds a suitable qualification for the purpose.
